The Hollywood Reporter has started a new weekly podcast series that will be hosted by Carolyn Giardina. Giardina is the tech editor for THR and will be talking with different below-the-line crafters such as sound editors and mixers, visual effects supervisors, editors, composers, cinematographers, production designers and others about their award season films. The podcasts are produced by Matthew Whitehurst.
The series begins with A Star Is Born production sound mixer Steve Morrow, who gives a behind-the-scenes look at recording Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, as well as shooting at live concert venues such as the Stagecoach and Glastonbury festivals.
